Things To Know About The New 500 and 2000 Currency Notes

We all have know that Modi Government took a historical move against black money. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reported that the notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 units have been banned from the midnight of November 8. RBI will release currency notes from November 10. In a sudden deliver to the country Prime Minister Narendra Modi, declared that Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 section notes will not be legal anymore. He said that such notes will get to be “negligible paper”.

You have 50 days in your hand from November 10 to December 30.  Deposit or exchange Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes at any bank or post office. The RBI will launch new 500 and 2000 currency notes. Meanwhile, all other notes will be legal. There is no change in other denomination.

  • New  500 notes will be  totally different  in color, size, theme.
  • Location of security characteristics and design details are also very different from the previous one.
  • The official new theme is Indian heritage site – Red Fort.
  • The new  currency notes will be 63mm x 150 mm in size.
  • The notes are stone gray in color.
  • A GPS nanotech will be inside in it.

Here are the features of 2000 currency notes:

  • The new currency 2000 notes will be a part of  Mahatma Gandhi  but with some changes.
  • The new currency notes have a theme of mangal yan on the back side.
  • The color of note is magenta.
  • The new 2000 currency note has other designs, geometric pattern follows the  color scheme.
  • The new note is 66 mm x 166 mm in size.

All the ATMs will be closed on 9th and 10 of November. You can get your new 500 and  2000 currency notes very soon.
