Hi, Readers! We are back with our recipe column with some more appetizing recipes.We will be updating our “Foodie” section frequently so that you can get to learn a lot of new restaurant style dishes which you can easily prepare at your home.
Today we are going to share a Non-veg dish named Crispy Honey Chicken, a sweet and spicy dish. So let’s start.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250 gms chicken thighs
  • 1 medium sized sliced Bell Pepper
  • 1 medium sized sliced Onion
  • 1 tsp chopped Ginger
  • 5-6 cloves of chopped Garlic
  • 2 tsp chopped spring onions

For Marination

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup flour

For Batter

  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ cup corn flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 cup water

For Sauce

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp soya sauce
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tsp tomato sauce
  • 3 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp corn flour

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut the chicken thighs lengthwise in shape of strips.
  2. Add some water to the cut chicken strips.
  3. Now add salt, white pepper powder and baking powder to it.
  4. Pour the vinegar into it and mix them properly.
  5. Now keep the marinated chicken in refrigerator for around 1 hour.
  6. In another bowl, take all purpose flour, corn flour, oil and salt and mix them properly.
  7. Now add water to it and beat it up properly so that no lumps is formed.
  8. Bring out the marinated chicken after an hour and add some flour to it to absorb the moisture.
  9. Now put the chicken into the batter and allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
  10. Heat some oil in a pan and cook the chicken until it turns golden brown.
  11. Take out the fried chicken pieces on an absorbent paper.
  12. Heat 1 tsp oil and add chopped garlic and ginger, sliced onions and bell peppers and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  13. Now add tomato sauce, chili paste, sauce, honey, corn flour, salt and water to it and mix them properly.
  14. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes and add fried chicken and mix it properly so that the sauce mixes well with chicken pieces.
  15. Sprinkle some black pepper powder on it and garnish it with some chopped spring onions and serve hot.
